Returns & Refund Policy

1. Overview
PermitSync stands behind the quality of our LOTO safety equipment. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we want to make it right. This policy covers all equipment orders placed through permitsync.com.au.
2. Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided:
- The item is unused and in its original packaging
- The item has not been deployed in a LOTO procedure (for safety and compliance reasons, used lockout devices cannot be returned)
- Proof of purchase is provided
To initiate a return, email us at info@permitsync.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Safety padlocks and lockout devices that have been used or keyed to a specific system
- Personalised or custom-engraved items
- Items purchased as part of a site-specific bundle
- Digital or software products
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. GST is included in all refunds.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for items of equal value (e.g., different colour padlock). Contact us to arrange an exchange before sending items back.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
