Isolation and cross-locking

The EIL is the record. The lock box is the key.

Every isolation point is isolated by one officer and verified by another, with the lock number captured as it goes on. For shared isolations, the site's approved procedure defines the relationship between permits, Equipment Isolation Lists and lockboxes.

  • Raise a permit from a verified EIL, or an EIL for a permit
  • Restoration is blocked until every cross-locked permit is closed
  • Scan any lock in the field to see which EIL and permits it protects

Boundaries and energisation

Construction to commissioning, without the guesswork.

Each contractor loads their boundary register. Points only release once physical segregation and pre-commissioning are done and the Notice of Energisation is issued, and the work-zone map changes to match.

Safety & Assurance
